this paper is good for watery paint as long as the application is gentle and quickly dried. it will not tolerate abusive of friction at all. the tone is lovely and the texture is wonderful.

I was very disappointed in this item! The word "Cream" is quite misleading. The color of the paper is NOT cream, it's more the color of a manila envelope (light yellow/orange)...look under the picture of the item being sold...that's the true color of the paper! It also doesn't feel heavyweight to me, I tore the first page trying to get it out of the ream. I would send it back, if it wouldn't cost more than it's worth in shipping/handling. The size of the paper is also too long to draw comfortably on. I'll probably let my grandchildren use it for folding some origami shapes, etc. What a waste!!!
