Learn to draw Snoopy as Flying Ace from Charlie Brown

Written Out Step by Step Instructions

(Step 1) Start off by drawing the basic shapes that make up Snoopy's face. Draw 2 ovals, forming a #8 shape.

(Step 2) Draw an upside down letter 'P' shape, as well as a letter 'S' shape.

(Step 3) Draw 2 letter 'C' shapes for the goggles. Draw an oval by the ear. Draw a line in the teeth. Draw 2 curved lines for the neck.

(Step 4) Draw a few curved lines. Draw lines in the teeth. Draw #3 shapes around the neck. Draw a large letter 'U' shape for the body.

(Step 5) Draw a curved line below the goggles. Draw a sideways letter 'u' shape on the neck. Draw a letter 'V' shape for the tail. Draw a sideways letter 'D' shape for the foot. Draw an circle in front of it.

(Step 6) Draw sideways letter 'S' shaped curved lines for the scarf. Draw a few other lines.

(Step 7) Draw another letter 'S' shaped curve near the scarf. Draw #3 shaped fingers. Draw a line under Snoopy for his dog house. Draw a curved line for the spot on his back.

(Step 8) Draw a letter 'U' and 'W' shape on the end of the scarf. Draw a line to the right of his foot, for the foot in the back that you can only partially see. Draw curved lines for fingers on the back hand that you can only partially see. Draw a line on both sides of the dog house roof.

(Step 9) Drawa letter 'W' shape and a line and some ovals to continue working on his scarf. Draw curved lines for his toes.

(Step 10) Erase any lines that you don't need any more and darken/thicken remaining lines to make your drawing look sharp.
